Description
The lobed goby is a small goby (Gobiidae) from deeper sand and mud water of the Indo-West Pacific. The species grows to about 4 cm and has a slender, pale body with lobed fins and fused pelvic fins forming a sucker. As a bottom-dweller of soft bottoms it sits by a burrow and snaps at small invertebrates, worms and zooplankton. The fish is harmless to humans.
