Description

The Angola happy is a cichlid (Cichlidae) from southwestern Africa. The species has an elongate body with a large mouth. It is known from only a few specimens, so its way of life is partly uncertain. It is presumably a predator that hunts insects, small fishes and invertebrates. As a cichlid it is probably a maternal mouthbrooder. For lack of data its status is uncertain. The species is harmless to humans.
