Description

The darksaddle blenny is a very small blenny (Labrisomidae) from the western Atlantic and Caribbean. The species stays about 3 cm long and has an elongate, pale body with a few dark saddle blotches. As a bottom-dweller it shelters in crevices, holes and among coral rubble of shallow reefs and snaps at small invertebrates. The fish is harmless to humans.
