Description
The bicolor scalyfin is a reef fish (Pomacentridae) from temperate reef waters of Western Australia. The species grows to about 14 cm; juveniles are bright orange-brown with blue spots, adults mostly brown-grey. As a territorial reef-dweller it defends an algal territory on rocky reefs, which it grazes. The fish is harmless to humans.
