Description
The Cameroon kneria is a small freshwater fish from fast-flowing mountain streams of Cameroon in West Africa. The species grows to about 9 cm and has a streamlined body and an inferior mouth with which it clings to stones and grazes algae and diatoms in the current. It is adapted to oxygen-rich, flowing water. The fish is harmless to humans and is assessed as Least Concern (LC) by the IUCN.
