Description
The spotted oyster blenny is a blenny (Blenniidae) from the Indo-West Pacific. The species is small and has an elongate, scaleless body with fine dark spots and lines and a blunt head profile. Adults live in coastal and brackish waters among rocks, oyster beds and mangroves. With its teeth it rasps algae and growth and takes small bottom life. The species is harmless to humans.
